जीवनदान परियोजना से सचिन को मिला जीवनदान

हार के आगे जीत   अलवर के रहने वाले सचिन (3वर्ष) को बार-बार बुखार आने और शरीर पर गांठ होने की शिकायत थी। माता-पिता ने स्थानीय अस्पताल में उपचार करवाया लेकिन सचिन की परेशानियां कम नहीं हुई। सचिन के पिता किसी परिजन की सलाह पर सचिन के उपचार के लिए जयपुर के भगवान महवीर कैंसर चिकित्सालय एंव अनुसंधान केन्द्र पहुंचे। चिकित्सालय में डॉ उपेन्द्र शर्मा ने सचिन की जांचे करवाई जिसमें सचिन को रक्त कैंसर (अक्यूट लिम्फोब्लॉस्टिक ल्यूकीमिया-लो रिस्क) होना पाया गया। इसका अनुमानित खर्च लगभग पांच लाख रूपए बताया।  सचिन के परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति अच्छी नहीं थी। ऐसे में कैंसर के उपचार को वहन करना उनके लिए संभव नहीं था। सचिन के पिता गिरीश को उस समय राहत की सांस मिली जब उन्हें पता चला कि चिकित्सालय में उपचार साध्य रक्त कैंसर के रोगियों को जीवन दान परियोजना के अन्तर्गत निशुल्क उपचार उपलब्ध है। डॉक्टर की अनुशंसा के पश्चात सचिन को परियोजना में पंजीकृत कर उसके उपचार की शुरूआत की गई।  सचिन का लम्बे समय तक उपचार चला, जिस दौरान बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य में कई उतार-चढाव भी आए। नियमित उपचार करवाने...

भगवान महावीर कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एंड रिसर्च सेंटर में राज्य के चिकित्सा अधिकारी और नर्सिंगकर्मियों के लिए पेलिएटिव केयर विषय पर प्रषिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।  छह दिवसीय इस कार्यक्रम का समापन षनिवार को हुआ। कार्यक्रम में चिकित्सालय के पेलिएटिव केयर विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अंजुम खान जोड और उनकी टीम की ओर से चिकित्सा अधिकारी और नर्सिंगकर्मियों को पेलिएटिव केयर के विभिन्न आयामों का प्रषिक्षण दिया गया। प्रषिक्षण के दौरान पेलिएटिव केयर (गंभीर रोग से ग्रसित रोगियों के दर्द को कम करने वाली चिकित्सा सेवा) का प्रायोगिक प्रषिक्षण भी दिया गया। गौरतलब है कि पेलिएटिव केयर के बारे में जागरूकता लाने के उददेश्य से भारत सरकार की ओर से देशभर में राश्ट्रीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। जिसके तहत राजस्थान में राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण स्वास्थ मिशन के सानिध्य में भगवान महावीर कैंसर हॉस्पिटल द्वारा राज्य के विभिन्न जिलों के चिकित्सा अधिकारी और नर्सिंग कर्मियों को अलग-अलग चरणों में ट्रेनिंग दी जा रही है। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के इस पांचवे चरण में राज्य सरकार सेवारत 32 चिकित्सा अधिकारी और नर्सि...
