Do you have any symptoms of Prostate Cancer…?


Prostate cancer occurs in prostate, a small walnut-shaped gland in men that produces seminal fluid which nourishes and transports sperm. Prostate cancer is one of the common types of cancer in men usually it behave as a slow growing tumor and responds to hormonal therapy. If detected early, prostate cancer has a better chance of successful treatment.

Prostate cancer symptoms:

Prostate cancer may be accompanied by a variety of urinary symptoms. Depending on the size and location, a tumor may press on and constrict the urethra, inhibiting the flow of urine. Some prostate cancer signs related to urination include:

§  Burning or pain during urination
§ Difficulty in urination, or trouble starting and stopping while urination
§  More frequent urges to urinate at night
§  Loss of bladder control
§  Decreased flow or velocity of urine stream
§  Blood in urine

Other prostate cancer symptoms include:

§  Blood in semen
§  Difficulty in getting an erection
§  Painful ejaculation
§  Swelling in legs or pelvic area
§  Numbness or pain in hips, legs or feet
§  Bone pain that doesn't go away, or leads to fractures
§  Backache

It is not necessary that these symptoms leads to prostate cancer but its always advisable to content your doctors immediately if any of the symptoms arise
