TWO YEAR OLD BOY SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE FIGHTING AGAINST CANCER Javed Ali, a two-year-old, is a real fighter, who, along with his father Mohammad Zakir has set an example for all those who are fighting against this life threatening disease cancer. FREEDOM FROM CANCER 167 Persons are Cancer Free & Leading a Normal Life under this Project.  Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre's Welfare Initiatives FREEDOM FROM CANCER offers free treatment for the patients suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) Blood Cancer. Under the format the patient being diagnosed of CML-CP by RQ-PCR for BCR-ABL – Test will be registered for free Imatinib therapy as per the approved protocol and will be given free supply (2 to 3 months at a time) of Imatinib (up to 5 years) & free routine tests. This Project Started in August 2015. Till March, 2020. 234 patients have been registered under the project and 167 are receiving free treatment (worth Rs 92,59,260/-).  All these patients are cancer free and leading a normal life.

DONATE A LIFE : 106 CHILDREN ARE CANCER FREE.   With an objective of gifting a complete happy life with holistic health and wellness, this programme has been initiated by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to extend free treatment for the treatable blood cancers [Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Low Risk (ALL), Acute Promylocytic Leukemia (APML), Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (HL)] in the children aged between 1 and 14. This project started in August 2014 & anticipated expenditure per patient is Rs 5 lacs. 155 Children received free treatment including medicines  (worth Rs 4,48,26,774/-) till March, 2020.   Now 115 children are receiving treatment and of which 106 are Cancer Free.
